Shifts in Time: Spring 2025
In Shifts in Time, various actions are explored, allowing the interaction to evolve freely and naturally. A painting isn’t predetermined, although preparation is key to the process. Over time, some paintings are repositioned upright at different angles to let the layers stretch, shift, and gain added dimension. The intrigue is the emergence of the unexpected and watching what happens. At any stage, paintings are partly reworked or fully transformed.
The works are mixed media on canvas and presented in non-chronological order. Each measures 2 x 2.5 and 2 x 2 metres.
